Betty Zine issue 1: Lockdown

During lockdown 2020, surfing was banned. Channelling the frustration and loneliness, I reached out in a women’s surf community facebook group, seeing if anyone would like to collaborate on a creative zine project during this time. I thought it would be a fun idea to collect content from the community and print it as a reminder of the unique time and give us all something to do and connect over whilst in isolation.

The response was overwhelming, and so here we go: the first Betty zine, designed and created by me, with help from Stephanie Brookes and edited by Rachel Lewis.
